Slow burn. The art of waiting
To wait is to exist between worlds. It is the suspension of time—a quiet, often invisible friction between the present moment and a desired future, or a vanished past. Artist: Vlada Lobus Curator: Jan Van Woensel

Mission
We aim to expand the field of analogue photography in Ukraine, making it visible, professional and open.
We support photographers, foster professional communities, and create conditions for the sustainable development of analogue photography in Ukraine — as artistic expression and a way of thinking about the present.
Berliner Strasse began as a grassroots initiative and continues to exist outside institutional frameworks. This independence allows us to experiment, work with flexible formats, and maintain an honest dialogue with our community. People, shared experience, and collective growth are at the core of our practice.
“It’s not magic that nobody understands — these are processes anyone can learn.”
