Can you make photo projects without a studio, a big budget or a permanent home?
Tania Bakum is a multidisciplinary artist and photographer who works with cyanotype, lith printing, textiles and performance. She fell in love with analogue printing in 2022. For two years she lived between Ukraine and Poland, moving more than 15 times with a single suitcase. But the urge to make work stayed, along with the belief that you can make it anywhere: in a bathroom, in a one-by-one-metre box room, in a kitchen.
Tania will explain how to print with minimal resources and whatever is at hand: how she set up a small darkroom in Gdańsk and made lith prints without an enlarger. She will show how her projects came together and answer questions.
