Fotosushka: Sport

Sports photography covers competitions, games, training and everything that happens around them. It belongs to photojournalism as much as to everyday photography. Its history begins with motion: in 1878 Eadweard Muybridge was the first to break a galloping horse down into separate frames.

We encourage you to shoot specially for the event and look for subjects within the genre.

Fotosushka is a one-day show of analogue photographs, hand-printed by the photographers who took them. Each participant will show one print of up to 30×40 cm; digital prints are not accepted. Visitors will be able to talk to the photographers and swap or buy prints. If you don't have a print yet, you can make one in our darkroom.

Anyone can take part, whatever their experience. Admission is free.
