Photography Speaking Club #6: The revival of film photography

Some say film photography is losing relevance; others see signs of a revival.

Elsewhere in the world, film never stopped developing. In Ukraine the situation was quite different, as everyone knows: Soviet-era isolation cut photographers off from the outside world, from good materials and from new technology.

Is the analogue revival in Ukraine gaining momentum? What have you noticed yourself? Let’s look for answers together.

Photography Speaking Club meets every Saturday to talk about photography in English. It is moderated by Bohdan Nahornyi, a photographer and English teacher, who prepares materials, a discussion plan and a short glossary for each topic. Any level of English is fine, and you are welcome to just listen.
