Photography Speaking Club #8: Ukrainian photography

The topic is Ukrainian Photography: Capturing Identity, History and Resilience.

What Ukrainian photography was like in the last century and what it is now. How photographers kept their artistic voice independent despite harsh Soviet censorship. What is happening to contemporary art photography during the war.

Photography Speaking Club meets every Saturday to talk about photography in English. It is moderated by Bohdan Nahornyi, a photographer and English teacher, who prepares materials, a discussion plan and a short glossary for each topic. Any level of English is fine, and you are welcome to just listen.
