The zine “No Access” is about something that by nature isn’t meant to be open. Graffiti lives in the shadows, and any attempt to document it is a balance between showing and exposing. In the zine, Ivan tries to understand and explain what graffiti culture in Ukraine is, what the photographer’s role in it is, and where the line runs between access and closedness. He tells how he got into places that are closed to outsiders and why graffiti should stay in the shadows, and asks what makes graffiti art. Published with the support of Vulychnyi, a shop that distributes graffiti culture in Ukraine.
